Denim Upcycling-Turn Old Jeans into Something New

Don’t ditch those jeans! Bring your pre-loved denim pieces to my Park Slope studio and upcycle them in a creative, multi-skill-level class. Beginners will learn how to do basic patching and embellishing with hand stitching, fun fabrics, crochet pieces and vintage buttons. More skilled sewers can turn those daisy dukes into a cute skirt!
Bring your own denim garments to upcycle and all the cool stuff will be supplied. You’ll leave with a finished, or almost finished, piece and a take-home kit to keep you upcycling.
